Launched in 1999, Playtech is one of the iGaming industry's leading technology companies. Besides creating some of the best online casino games, Playtech provides platform solutions for online casinos and sportsbooks.
On August 24, 2022, the London-based company reached another milestone after partnering with Buzz Bingo to release the seamless Single-Wallet gaming project. Buzz Bingo is the largest Bingo operator in the UK, with up to 92 physical locations. The operator also offers online slots, table games, and live casino games provided by none other than Evolution Gaming.
Playtech's IMS platform powers the newly launched Wallet. This project will provide smooth connectivity across all of Buzz Bingo's online and land-based platforms. In other words, Buzz Bingo's players will access slot machines, table games, and other verticals on a single account for land-based and online play.
Single Wallet will also allow players to fund their wallets online or through one of Buzz Bingo's shops. In addition, players can withdraw their winnings at any of Buzz Bingo's physical locations. Buzz Bingo players should expect a more seamless experience with this state-of-the-art technology.
Without any further ado, here's what Marat Koss, Playtech's VP of Interactive Gaming, said about the deal:
"This is a major milestone for Buzz Bingo and Playtech and our long-term partnership. An incredible amount of work has gone into achieving a seamless single Wallet connectivity across all retail and online operations, both from our team and everyone at Buzz Bingo. We are very proud to be part of delivering an enhanced experience for players across every Buzz club and Buzz Bingo online."
Buzz Bingo's Digital Operations Director, David Evans, also shared Marat Koss' views about the agreement. He lauded Playtech for being a reliable partner and said that the latest achievement could not be overstated.
Here are his full comments:
"Playtech has been a vital partner in the Buzz Bingo journey from day one, and the achievement of delivering a single wallet instance across our entire retail estate and online presence cannot be overstated. Against a backdrop of highly challenging times with long-term club closures during the COVID-19 pandemic, our partnership has created something truly ground-breaking."
